About Us

Hello Fellow Pet Lovers and Travelers!

 

We are Rebecca and John Chapman- a happily married couple from Durand, Michigan. We both love animals- but as many of you know, it takes more than that to be a pet and house sitter. It takes reliability, honesty and integrity- you need to trust the person you allow to care for your home and pets. We are insured for your protection, and take pride in the work we do. Here is a little more about us-

 

In the past John was the owner of beautiful Great Danes. Having faithfully served his country for 22 years, he is a retired, senior, non-commissioned officer from the United States Army. He continues to live by the Army values of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless- Service, Honor, Integrity and Personal Courage.

 

While living just outside of Aspen, Colorado, I worked extensively as a pet care provider and for a local pet outfitter.  I returned home to Michigan when a family member needed care. I am a graduate of the University of Michigan- Flint.

 

For both John and I, service to others with integrity and honor is a way of life. We have translated these values into Chapman's Casa and Critter Care Service.

 

Our services are the result of our frustration with finding adequate pet and home care while out of town. We weren't above wrangling a neighborhood kid to water the garden or begging a family member to pick up our mail! However, more times than not, we'd return home to dead plants, an unlocked front door or a kitty box that hadn't been changed in a week. A loving pet deserves better than that, and so did we. And so do you.
